Američki fudbal na Balkanu 4. deo: Srbija

Razvoj Američkog fudbala je napredovao u 41 evropskoj zemlji koje imaju timove. Ova igra se organski pojavila u svakoj od ovih zemalja i priča koja se razvijala nije bi ista ni u jednoj od njih. Uprkos ovoj činjenici, razvoj igre u Srbiji je definitivno bio poseban.
Za početnike, Srbija je jedina zemlja u Evropi u koja je imala ligu od 8 timova koji su igrali po principu ful kontakta, a nisu nosili nikakvu zaštitu. Saša Stojanović, predsednik Angel Warriors-a iz Čačka, je opisao kako se Američki fudbal u Srbiji tada igrao samo sa zaštitom za zube, ali da se sama igra nije razlikovala od ove sada kada igrači nose kacige i pedove. “Srbi su veoma eksplozivni i atletski nadareni. Svi ratovi su se završili pa je po prirodi stvari ovaj sport razvijen kod nas tako brzo iako nismo bili u prilici da priuštimo kompletnu zaštitnu opremu na početku.”
Ako pričamo o “ranijem periodu” moglo bi se pogrešno shvatiti, jer pričamo o periodu tokom 2005 i 2006. godine. Dodatno, prvi tim Američkog fudbala u Srbiji, Sirmium Legionari, je osnovan 2002. godine. Tek 2009. godine se okupio dovoljan broj timova sa punom zaštitnom opremom koji bi se takmičili u potpuno razvijenoj ligi.
Sada, posle samo 7 godina, najblaže rečeno, broj klubova je impresivan. U stvari, Američki fudbal u Srbiji, je doživeo jedan od najbržih i najuspešnijih perioda razvijanja u poređenju sa ostalim zemljama u Evropi.
Trenutno postoje 3 divizije u Srbiji, i to su, gledano od vrha ka dole, Prva, Druga i Treća Liga.
U Prvoj Ligi timovi su: Beograd Blue Dragons, Vukovi Beograd, Inđija Indians, Kragujevac Wild Boars, Sombor Celtis, Novi Sad Dukes, Pančevo Panthers i Sirmium Legionari.
Timovi koji čine Drugu Ligu: Niš Imperatori, Čačak Angel Warriors, Jagodina Black Hornets, Kikinda Mammoths, Požarevac Pastuvi, Vršac Lavovi i Zemun Pirates.
Treću ligu čine: Bor Golder Bears, Bečej Vidre, Klek Knights, Kraljevo Royal Crowns, Novi Sad Wild Dogs, Obrenovac Hawks, Šabac Sharks i Smederevo Bedemi.
Ostali timovi koji trenutno nisu deo ove tri lige su Lazarevac Sabers, Mladenovac Forestlanders, Novi Kneževac Grofovi, Pirot Vitezovi, Valjevo Werewolves, Vranje Vrane i Vrbas Hunters.
Pored takmičenja u Srbiji, sledeći timovi se paralelno takmiče u CEFL East ligi zajedno sa Budapest Cowbells-ima: Vukovi Beograd, Inđija Indians, Imperatori Niš i Dukes-i iz Novog Sada. Ove godine, u CEFL finalu, beogradski Vukovi su tesno izgubili od ekipe Graz Giants-a. Ovo je pravi dokaz koliko daleko je Američki fudbal u Srbiji napredovao jer je Graz jedan od najboljih timova u Austriji – zemlji u kojoj se pored Nemačke igra najbolji fudbal u Evropi.
Dva tima sa čuvenom internacionalnom reputacijom su beogradski Vukovi i Dukes-i iz Novog Sada. Ovi timovi ne samo da su bili dominantni u sprskom takmičenju i CEFL-u, već su zajedno u periodu od 2011-2015 bili osvajači titule prvaka Srbije (Vukovi, 2011-2014, Dukes 2015).
Ipak, uprkos njihovoj čuvenoj internacionalnoj reputaciji ova dva tima teško da su jedina dva velika tima u Srbiji. Kragujevac Wild Boars osvojili su Šampionat Srbije 2010 i vratili se na put jednog od najboljih timova u Srbiji pobedom nad Vukovima u finalu 2016. godine.
Dok svi treba da slavimo činjenicu da se srpski sportisti priključuju ovoj igri i da se timovi osnivaju širom zemlje, prirodni rast u ovom slučaju možda treba da zastane malo. Da li je veći broj timova najbolja stvar u pogledu sveopšteg razvoja Američkog fudbala u Srbiji, ili bilo gde drugde?
Nemanja Kokar, Sportski direktor u Sirmium Legionarima, opisuje neke od problema u situaciji postojanja toliko timova u jednoj maloj zemlji. “ Rasipaju se talenat, sredstva i treneri. Američki fudbal je još uvek mlad, kvalitetnih igrača ima, ali su rasuti po klubovima širom zemlje.”
Kada je upitan šta bi po njemu bio idealan scenario strukture Američkog fudbala u Srbiji, Kokar je ušao u detalje: “Treba da postoje dve divizije sa manjim brojem timova. Ovo bi omogućilo najboljim igračima da se koncetrišu na te timove, najboljim trenerima da treniraju te igrače, a timovi sa nižim nivoom razvoja bi imali neverovatne primere iz kojih bi učili kako da napreduju.”
Ipak, Kokar je bio izuzetno pozitivnog mišljenja po pitanju stanja Američkog fudbala u Srbiji. Njegove brige treba uzeti za ozbiljno, obzirom da je Srbija verovatno jedna od retkih zemalja u Evropi koja ima problem sa rasipanjem talenta.
Ako stavimo po strani stratešku i filozofsku raspravu o tome kako bi Američki fudbal trebao da se razvije u Srbiji, igra jeste u ekspanziji i ovo je sjajna vest za sve one koji brinu i razmišljaju o napretku Američkog fudbala u Evropi.
Interesantno, ovaj brzi rast ne važi za sve zemlje u okruženju. Tri zemlje koje se graniče sa Srbijom, Crna Gora, Albanija i Makedonija – nemaju nijedan tim, a Bosna ima jedan tim. U Hrvatskoj, Rumuniji i Bugarskoj postoji relativno dobro uspostavljena tradicija Američkog fudbala, ali se ipak bore da privuku pažnju i uspostave pravi rast igre kao što je to slučaj u Srbiji. U ovim zemljama razvoj je išao skromno u proteklih 8-10 godina.
Od svih susednih zemalja, samo u Mađarskoj je rast uspostavljen na pravi način, sa skoro 30 timova a dosta godina takmičenja iza sebe. Ipak, uprkos snažnoj organizaciji u Mađarskoj, igra se ipak nije razvila tako ekplozivno kao što je to slučaj u Srbiji.
Zašto se onda Srbija izdvaja tako očigledno u poređenju sa komšijama? Ivan Kosanović, predsednik Pančevo Panthers-a, ima zanimljivo objašnjenje za ovo. “Američki fudbal je definitivno jedinstven zato što ga čini više od 50 igrača na utakmici. Ne postoji ovakav sport u Srbiji. Taktika, snaga, brzina – ne postoji ništa slično Američkom fudbalu i mišljenja sam da upravo zbog toga Srbi vole ovaj sport. Ovaj sport predstavlja ultimativno takmičenje. Ne znam da li postoji nešto više od toga. Sport je sport, Srbi vole sport, a ne postoji sport kao što je Američi fudbal.”
Nikola Davidović, predsednik kluba Beograd Blue Dragons, je sličnog mišljenja. “Srbi vole sport i ne postoji sport kao što je Američki fudbal. Pioniri ovog sporta u Srbiji su jednostavni momci koji vole sport i to je to.”
Uz svoju strast za Američkim fudbalom, obojica, Kosanović i Davidović su se od skoro priključili timu Growth of the Game. Rade zajedno na pružanju prevoda tekstova na srpski jezik kako bi isti bili dostupni širem auditorijumu i kako bi obezbedili nove informacije i izvore svojim zemljacima, koje mogu da pomognu razvoju ovog sporta. Još jedan razlog zašto se ova igra brzo razvila u Srbiji je svakako činjenica da su se inostrani treneri i igrači pojavili u mnogo klubova. “Najveći napredak je napravljen upravo dovođenjem stranih trenera i igrača iz SAD,” objašnjava Kosanović. “Postoji veliki broj ljudi u Srbiji koji koriste internet kao glavno sredstvo za učenje tehnika i drilova neophodnih za usavršavanje ove igre. Jako je važno imati sjajne trenere koji nam mogu preneti svoje iskustvo bavljenja Američkim fudbalom.”
Ovo naravno, ne umanjuje prisustvo talenta, upornosti i posvećenosti koja dolazi od igrača, trenera i administratora unutar Srbije. Ipak, važno je napomenuti da svi timovi u Prvoj Ligi i većina timova u Drugoj Ligi imaju jednog ili više inostranih igrača, kao i inostranog trenera. Treneri možda nisu glavni treneri u ekipi, ali ne postoji nijedan tim u Prvoj Ligi gde inostrani trener nije na jednoj od pozicija u stručnom štabu.
Trener Šon Embri je oličenje uspeha koje ide uz pravilno vodjstvo i posvećenost. Trener Embri je bio sa ekipom Beograd Vukova u par navrata od 2011. godine. On ih vodio do 3 uzastopne titule šampiona Srbije i do finala u ovoj godini. U Srbiji, gde je Američki fudbal ekplozivno napredovao, trener Embri je imao pregled na razvoj većine najuspešnijih kluba u zemlji.
Uticaj trenera Embrija na Američki fudbal u Srbiji treba shvatiti kao veoma ozbiljan od strane onih koji su iz nekog razloga protiv dovođenja stranih trenera ili igrača. Pod pravim okolnostima, stranci ne samo da podižu nivo igre samih igrača, već podižu i nivo stručnosti trenera koji sa njima rade i na taj način ne samo unapređuju igru kao takvu već i klub u kom su, kako iz ugla organizacije tako i iz ugla mogućih sponzorstava. Srbija je živi dokaz kako može da se na pravi način iskoristi prisustvo inostranih trenera i igrača.
The Growth of the Game je takođe intervjuisao Gorana Nišavića, čoveka koji je bio generalni menadžer u beogradskim Vukovima, a trenutno Predsedavajuči u IFAF-u. Iako stoji da kreiranje jednakosti širom svih zemalja Evrope predstavlja veliki izazov, Nišavićeve reči kako precizne tako i optimistične. Svaka zemlja radi na razvoju na svoj način. Svaka zemlja ima svoj individualni pristup, ali ovo je dobra stvar, uprkos izazovima koje ove razlike mogu da stvore. Kako inače igra, koju toliko volimo, može da nastavi sa razvojem u tom pravcu ako ne napreduje u svakoj od zemalja, uključujući i zemlje koje su u sličnom stanju kao što je i Srbija?
Stanje rasta u Srbji je živi dokaz da Američki fudbal može da napreduje uprkos ekonomskim, geografskim ili političkim izazovima. Uspeh koji Srbi imaju treba sve da nas inspiriše.
