“I want to take this moment to thank The Growth of a Game for all the awesome times, training, motivation, friendships, and sore muscles I could enjoy at the skills camps in Düsseldorf, Split, and Vienna. A lot of people have been telling me I’m crazy to attend all camps all over Europe and the only thing I actually can say is yes, I am crazy. The Growth of a Game is an organization that provides so much more than skills camps, football equipment and football information around Europe. It gives you the chance to take your football game to a whole new level, get to meet people all over Europe, make friends on and off the football field, visit cities you have never been to before, compete against Europe’s most talented players, be coached by former NFL players, former NCAA Division 1, 2, & 3 coaches, get offers to play football for numerous teams in Europe, enjoy great parties, drink home-brewed šljivovica with my Croatian friends, have tremendous fun, and most importantly to me, grow as a person and and learn new things about life.”
–Noah Gene Tyson, DB, Winterthur Warriors (Switzerland)
“It’s funny, because when I was writing this review, all the memories from the camps came back and I was smiling the whole time. The Growth of a Game skills camps are more than just camps. It’s amazing how much work the organization puts into making every camp even better than the last. Coming back to a camp is like coming home to your family. It’s amazing to get coached by some of the best coaches in Europe. It’s incredible how much you learn about every aspect of the game with these guys. If you come, you will meet a lot of new people who love the game as much as you and you’ll make friends for life. You’ll get the chance to discover new countries, cities, cultures, food, and nightlife. I’m already looking forward to the next camp!”
–Kenzo Lannoo, LB, Ghent Gators (Belgium)
“To sum up the whole experience of The Growth of a Game Split Skills Camp in one word would be very hard but we can say without a doubt that it was amazing. The camp was very high-level despite the fact it was the first one of its kind in Croatia. We can only praise the organizers who took everything into consideration and put together a great experience for everyone. All the coaches were extremely helpful, patient, and open to all sorts of questions, as well as the organizers who allowed every player to develop a lot over the course of two days. The atmosphere on the field was fun and we were pushed to work extremely hard. The national selection was a big part of this event and it’s surely an event that will be written in the golden letters of Croatian American football history as the first mention of Croatia’s national football team. I would like to give special thanks to all the coaches and staff because they are the guys who made all this happen and gave us a weekend to remember!”
–Marko Miletić, WR, Dubrovnik Sharks (Croatia)
“I can’t describe to you in words how much I enjoyed the camp. There were lot of new experiences, friends, and above all a lot of new knowledge that I’ve been able to implement in our training process. I can’t thank you enough for all that you are doing for American football in Croatia and in Europe. But most of all for helping us build our national team and I can’t tell you how proud I am of that. I will definitely attend the camp next year in Split and maybe in some other country.”
–Josip Miletić, LB, Zaprešić Saints (Croatia)
“The energy was amazing! Everybody was hyped and happy to be there. I really enjoyed the camp and I learned so much.”
–Michiel Neyt, DB, Ghent Gators (Belgium)
