OVERVIEW

The Growth of a Game will be hosting its second annual American football camp in Cologne, Germany on March 23rd-24th, 2019.

The Cologne Skills Camp is an annual camp with the intent to improve the level of players from around the region. Players and coaches from all across Europe will visit Cologne for the camp, and upwards of 200 players are expected to be in attendance.

The Growth of a Game Cologne Skills Camp will be led by several of the top coaches in Europe, including Spencer Wood, head coach for the Belgian National Team; Joe Sturdivant, head coach for the Saarland Hurricanes in Germany; Mike Brown, defensive coordinator for the Gießen Golden Dragons (Germany); Niko Chatziamanetoglu, the offensive coordinator for the Cologne Crocodiles II (Germany); Jörg Mackenthun, the former head coach and defensive coordinator for the Düsseldorf Panthers (Germany); Andreas Brökers, head coach for the Aachen Vampires (Germany); Klaudiusz Cholewinski, defensive line coach for the Belgian national team; Georgy Baudart, head coach for the Amay Atomics (Belgium); Bob Conroy, defensive line coach for the Saarland Hurricanes in Germany; and Brock Dale, quarterback for the Saarland Hurricanes in Germany.

The camp will focus on skill development for all players 15 and over. Players of all positions are welcome. In addition to player development, the coaching staff will also be providing instruction to beginner and intermediate coaches in the form of on-field work. Players from as many as 15 countries will be present.

Player fees for the 2-day camp are €99, while coaches fees are €49. Teams can sign up unlimited players and coaches for €1,000.

ATTENTION: For every sign-up until February 10th, The Growth of a Game team is giving away a free workout plan! For all individual sign-ups until the mentioned date, we will send a high-quality workout plan specifically designed for American football players aiming to improve their skills on every position. Additionally, each team that signs up before February 10th gets a chance to have a representative compete for the CampChamp title and earn themselves a special place on our website! Camp t-shirts will be included in the sign-up cost for players and will be provided during registration. Players will wear t-shirts, shorts, and football cleats – no shoulder pads or helmets.
