Belgian National Team Plays Russia for the First Time

The Belgian National team (otherwise known as the Belgian Barbarians) will play a friendly game against the Russian National team for the first time ever on Saturday, October 21st at the International School of Brussels.

Doors will open to the Fan Village for this monumental event at 15:00. Make sure to come early because there will also be an exciting pre-game and team introduction at 16:30. You won’t want to miss the chance to hear shout-outs and cheer on all of your favorite Belgian Barbarian and Russian players. Entrance tickets for the entire experience are 12€ and can be purchased online or at the gate.

Kick off for the big game is at 17:00 so don’t be late!

The Belgian National Team, led by head coach Lee Rosky, will be coming off of two recent wins against Spain and Hungary and will be looking to continue their victory streak.

The Russian National team, led by head coach Dmitry Maximov, will be making the journey to compete in Brussels and are hoping to make their mark.

These teams are strong competition for one another — with Belgium entering the contest at 22nd on the AFI world rankings and Russia being ranked at 21st. This event promises to have a high-level of play and to be one for the books!
