The Holstebro Dragons routed the Esbjerg Hurricanes in Danish league play on Saturday by a final score of 42-6. The home victory improved the Dragons’ record to an impressive 7-1 on the year.

The win was spearheaded by head coach Dan Ruiz and quarterback Matt Reyes, both of whom are represented by The Growth of a Game. Reyes’ stellar performance was highlighted by 375 passing yards and four touchdowns through the air, as well as 131 yards and two additional scores on the ground.

“It was a great team win,” said Coach Ruiz. “It was the most physical game we played all season thus far, so I’m happy.”

The Dragons look to avenge their only loss of the year in a September 10th rematch with the Copenhagen Tomahawks, to be held in Holstebro, before wrapping up the season with a September 17th contest in Svendborg against the Admirals.

The Growth of a Game team congratulates the Dragons on the big win and wishes them success during the remainder of their season.
