1. Quote d’iscrizione
Nella maggior parte dei casi è il modo migliore per avviare una squadra. Far pagare una quota d’iscrizione annuale ai giocatori vi permetterà di creare un budget di partenza con cui pagare i campi da allenamento e da partita, le attrezzature, le polizze assicurative, ecc. Quasi tutte le squadre lo fanno, e a ragione: raramente una nuova squadra ha il valore necessario per attirare sponsor e poche squadre hanno a disposizione un budget da un milione di euro il giorno in cui vengono fondate.
Se pensate di far pagare ai vostri giocatori una quota d’iscrizione annuale, assicuratevi che copra i costi operativi di base e la copertura assicurativa per ogni giocatore. La quota però non deve essere troppo alta, in quanto potrebbe scoraggiare i giocatori meno abbienti a iscriversi. Cercate di stabilire una quota che dia a tutti la possibilità di iscriversi.
2. Sponsorizzazioni
Farsi sponsorizzare da un’azienda è allo stesso tempo il modello di profitto più invitante e quello più ingannevole. Una cospicua sponsorizzazione da parte dell’azienda giusta può letteralmente cambiare le sorti della vostra squadra. Il problema, ovviamente, è che vendere il valore di una sponsorizzazione può essere difficile se non lo si fa con l’approccio giusto. Se invece sarete in grado di dimostrare che la sponsorizzazione garantirà un ritorno sugli investimenti, le vostre possibilità saranno infinite.
La buona notizia è che le opportunità per attirare sponsor sono illimitate. Esistono tantissime aziende, e quasi tutte potrebbero trarre benefici dal giusto contratto di sponsorizzazione. 4. Volontariato d’impresa

Per i giocatori si tratta di volontariato, ma il budget della squadra riceve dei fondi aggiuntivi. I giocatori devono solo lavorare 15-20 ore all’anno, per esempio, e questo potrebbe dare una mano a coprire i costi di gestione di base della squadra. Questo tipo di volontariato è molto comune in Scandinavia, e dovrebbe diventarlo anche nel resto dell’Europa. Mettetevi in contatto con un’azienda locale e offrite della forza lavoro a prezzo scontato. Chissà, questo tipo di collaborazione potrebbe anche portare a una sponsorizzazione.
5. Attrezzature
È il modello di profitto meno utilizzato. Prima di tutto, le squadre dovrebbero comprare delle attrezzature standard in modo che tutti i giocatori possano averle a disposizione quando ne hanno bisogno. È importante firmare un accordo coi giocatori per assicurarsi che restituiscano l’attrezzatura a fine stagione.
Infine può anche essere redditizio ricomprare le attrezzature dai giocatori. Spesso i giocatori si ritirano, si trasferiscono o smettono di giocare, e sono contenti di guadagnare qualche soldo vendendo la propria attrezzatura. Comprandola a un prezzo ragionevole, potrete rivenderla o affittarla ad altri giocatori. Potreste anche guadagnarci qualcosa comprandola a basso prezzo e rivendendola a un prezzo più alto.
Più recenti saranno le attrezzature, più affidabili saranno per i vostri giocatori e più redditizie saranno per la vostra squadra. Tutte le squadre dovrebbero gestire bene questo aspetto.
6. Vendere quote di proprietà
Le squadre che sono organizzate come associazioni a scopo di lucro hanno la possibilità di vendere una percentuale delle quote di proprietà. 7. Vendere biglietti

9. Ottenere un finanziamento governativo
I finanziamenti governativi variano da paese a paese, quindi è vostra responsabilità scoprire se avete la possibilità di ottenerli.
