Utrecht Skills Camp

The Growth of a Game, will be hosting its second annual American football camp in Utrecht, Netherlands from September 8^th – 9^th, 2018.

The Utrecht Skills Camp is an annual camp with the intent to improve the level of players from around the region. Players and coaches from all across Europe will visit Utrecht for the camp, and upwards of 150 players are expected to be in attendance.

The Utrecht Skills Camp will be led by several of the top coaches in Europe, including Spencer Wood, head coach for the Belgian National Team; Pascal Matla, former head coach for the 010 Trojans in the Netherlands; Steve Sheppard, former special teams coordinator for the Dutch National Team; Ray Agaoglu, former head coach of the Dutch National Team; Christophe Olenaed, defensive backs coach for the Belgian national team; Jaycen Taylor, running backs coach for the Belgian National Team; Michel Storm, former defensive coordinator for the 010 Trojans in the Netherlands; Pauwel Depreitere, wide receivers coach for the Belgian national team; Richard Bouthoorn, former offensive coordinator for the Alphen Eagles in the Netherlands; Herman Eisinger, defensive line coach for the Schiefbahn Riders in Germany; Robbie Hiensch, former defensive backs coach for the Dutch National Team; Ido Bernadicas, former linebackers coach for the 010 Trojans in the Netherlands; Brandon Snell, running backs coach for the Utrecht Dominators in the Netherlands; and Tim Haver Droeze, wide receiver for the Düsseldorf Panther in Germany.

The camp will focus on skill development for all players 15 and over. Players of all positions are welcome. In addition to player development, the coaching staff will also be providing instruction to beginner and intermediate coaches in the form of on-field work. Players from as many as 15 countries will be present.

Player fees for the 2-day camp are €99, while coaches fees are €49. Alternatively, teams can sign up unlimited players and coaches for €1,000.

Camp t-shirts will be included in the sign-up cost for players and will be provided during registration. Players will wear t-shirts, shorts, and football cleats – no shoulder pads or helmets.
