Zahradka and the Italian National team begin European Championship qualifying play today vs. Israel
Luke Zahradka, quarterback for the Italian National team and represented by The Growth of a Game, is preparing for his second run at the European Championship. Zahradka also led the Italian National team in 2015 before signing with the AFL’s Prague Black Panthers for the 2016 season.
“I’m really excited and confident for this European Championship. We had a solid week of practice with lots of competitiveness,” said Zahradka. “The coaching staff and trainers have prepared us to be ready for the tournament.”
The Italian National team kicks off qualifying play in a match-up with Israel today at 3 PM (GMT+2) in Lignano Sabiaddoro. The winner will keep their championship hopes alive and continue on to face the victor of the Serbia vs. Switzerland contest, also held today.
